2010: Did not play due to injury.

2009: Split time with UC Davis swimming team (see below)... Shot 6-for-11 in 13 games (128) minutes... Picked up 11 steals and 6 drawn exclusions (5 majors, 1 five-meter)... Posted 2 goals and 2 field blocks in NorCal Cup game against 4th-ranked Hawai'i (1/31).

2008: Redshirted.

2007: Played 145 minutes in 18 games, splitting part of the season with the Aggie women's swimming team... Scored 8 goals with 5 assists... Posted 12 steals with 8 drawn exclusions on defense... Had 6 of her goals during opening weekend, including hat trick vs. Sonoma State (1/28).

UC DAVIS SWIMMING & DIVING: Redshirted in 2009-10... Won 2009 Heitman Award as university's outstanding female athlete of the year... NCAA Championships qualifier in three events... Won Big West Conference titles in 200 IM (1:58.36) and 100 breast (1:00.38) in 2009, setting school records in each and capturing conference Athlete of the Year honors... Hit A-cut in 200 breast with school-record 2:09.41... Team's highest scorer at Big West Conference meet in 2008... Advanced to finals in 200 breast (3rd), 200 IM (4th) and 400 IM (4th)... Captured Big West Conference title in 200 breast as a freshman in 2007, setting school record of 2:14.30... Also placed 3rd in 400 IM (4:22.18), 4th in 200 IM (2:03.54) at Big West meet, setting UC Davis records in each... Set meet records at Akron Invite in 200 breast (2:19.28) and 400 IM (4:28.05).

MENLO-ATHERTON HS '06: Attended Palo Alto Prep for two years, then M-A for two... Starred in three sports: swimming, water polo and rodeo... Twice selected to All-Central Coast Section and All-Peninsula Athletic League first teams in water polo... Earned NISCA All-America honors in 100 breast and 200 medley relay... Won CIF-CCS titles in 100 breast as a junior and senior... Ranked 32nd nationally in that event as a senior at 1:03.87, just shy of UC Davis' record in the event (Ashley Cayford, 1:03.80)... Set PAL records in both 100 breast and 200 IM... Earned San Jose Mercury-News Athlete of the Week honors... Competed for SOLO Aquatics (swimming) and NorCal Water Polo Club... Earned All-America honors at 20-and-Under Nationals (first team) and Senior Nationals (honorable mention) for NorCal... Earned Silver Stirrups at Challenge of Champions in barrel racing (rodeo) in 2003... Competed at state rodeo finals in 2003-04.

PERSONAL: Majoring in nutrition science, with plans on becoming a pediatrician... Parents are Gilbert & Heidi Kucera... Older sister, Kari, was a gymnast at Cornell... Proudest personal accomplishment was helping her sister win a third saddle at Booger Barter Roping... Chose UC Davis because she was allowed to compete in both swimming and water polo, plus continue to rodeo.
