VILLA PARK HS '08: Twice earned NISCA All-America honors, including fourth-team distinction as a senior... Selected to All-Southern Section and All-Century League first teams for three straight years... Named as team's Defensive MVP in 2005 and 2007... Tallied 127 goals, 219 assists and 222 steals in her three-year career... Attended Arnold Beckman HS as a freshman, earning MVP honors in swimming... Played club ball for SET (Saddleback-El Toro) WPC, helping 20-under team finish 2nd at nationals in 2007 then capture the title in 2008... Also competed at Junior Olympics (2006-08), Open Nationals (2007) and Top 40 Festival (2007).

PERSONAL: Born in Bellflower, Calif.... Majoring in biochemistry & molecular biology... Parents are Danny Miyabe and Susan Sugimoto... Moment in history she wishes she could have witnessed was the 1969 Woodstock Festival.
