ROHNERT PARK, Calif. - Senior utility Michelle Hook scored four goals while sophomore Kaylee Miller added three to lead 15th-ranked UC Davis to a 18-11 win over 19th-ranked Cal State East Bay in the final game of the Seawolf Splash women's water polo tournament at Sonoma State Sunday. The Aggies lost to No. 4 UCLA by an 8-3 tally earlier in the day.

UC Davis, which went 3-1 at the two-day tourney, moves to 6-6 for the season.

Hook had five total goals for the day. She joined teammates Alicia Began and Kathryn Bailey among the Aggie scorers in the morning loss to UCLA. Senior Casey Hines had 10 saves for UC Davis, but her counterpart Caitlin Dement tallied 22 stops for the Bruins in the opposite cage.

Sophomore Sarah Orozco led all scorers with four goals while junior Kelly Easterday had two for UCLA.

Hook and Miller led 10 Aggie scorers in the nightcap win over the Pioneers. Sophomore Lyndsay Sutterley and freshmen Carly Ternasky and Jessica Dunn each added two for UC Davis, which lead 14-7 at the halftime break.

Whitney Bell hit four goals and Claire Pierce netted three to pace the Pioneers in defeat. Cal State East Bay, members of the Western Water Polo Association (UC Davis' former conference), owns its first national ranking in program history.
