LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Tiffany Hodgens scored four goals, all in the first half, to lead UC Davis to a 12-4 win over Cal St. Bakersfield in the third-place game of the Western Water Polo Association tournament at Loyola Marymount Sunday.

The 12th-ranked Aggies finish the year at 21-11. The Roadrunners even their record at 13-13.

The Aggies opened with a 4-0 lead after the first quarter, but CSUB scored twice early in the second to cut the margin to two. However, UC Davis broke loose for eight straight goals through the third quarter of play to build its lead to 12-2.

Hodgens and Russell each earned first-team All-WWPA honors after the tournament. Alli Johnstone captured second-team distinction while goalie Nicole Hall won honorable mention.
