DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis junior Greta Kohlmoos captured Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-America honorable mention, as announced by the Collegiate Water Polo Association Monday. This is the first such accolade for the center from Livermore, California.

Also an All-Big West Conference first-team selection, Kohlmoos led the Aggies with 66 goals, 39 drawn exclusions and nine drawn five-meter penalties during her 2017 season. She also added seven assists and 25 steals. Her goals total ranked second among conference leaders, sixth in school history and stands as the most ever by a UC Davis center. Kohlmoos totaled 10 hat tricks this season, including a career-high six in a sudden-victory win over Hartwick on March 5.

Stanford’s Maggie Steffens was selected as the overall ACWPC Player of the Year while John Tanner won Coach of the Year distinction. The Aggies went 16-18 for the 2017 season, placing fourth at the Big West tournament and finishing 12th in the final national coaches’ poll.
